The LINC Study is a national study to learn about people living with a neurological condition and its impact on their everyday lives.
LINC is part of the National Population Health Study of Neurological Conditions, a collaboration between Neurological Health Charities Canada, of which SB&H is a founding member, and the Public Health Agency of Canada. The study is being conducted by a team of researchers from Dalhousie University, Memorial University, Queens University, the University of Manitoba and the University of Prince Edward Island.
The LINC Study has 3 parts:
1. A snapshot in time: an in-depth survey of 3500 people living in Canada
2. A year in the life of 350 Canadians: a series of monthly conversations
3. Individual stories: a study of 18 people, their families and supporters
