Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month (JDAIM)

UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre (MNJCC) are proud to be launching for JDAIM for the first time in Toronto.

Since 2009, North American Jewish Communities have been celebrating Jewish Disability Awareness Month in February. Now known as Jewish Disability and Inclusion Month (JDAIM), it is an opportunity to celebrate our commitment to removing barriers, celebrating diversity and connecting with our Jewish values.

Making Jewish Life accessible for all is one of most important community responsibilities, and one of the greatest community opportunities to benefit from what everyone has to contribute.

The JDAIM Guide outlines ideas and examples of JDAIM programming, including JDAIM Reads  2016 book selections for children and adults.
