Lottery Calendar

Meet our December artist, Marianka Cantin from Hearst:

1. How did you come up with the idea for this drawing that is included inside the calendar.

I came up with the idea of drawing for the love I have for my dog and would like to have more!

2. Why do you like drawing/painting or taking pictures?

Drawing is not my first passion but I like it anyway because it's making me relax and enter in my imaginary world where there is no limit.

3. How did you feel when you heard your artwork was selected for the TGIF Calendar?

I was very happy to be chosen to the 10 year look back at the art in the TGIF calendar, and decide to do a new one!

4. How has the Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario assisted you and/or your family?

The Association assisted in all kind of things, learning how to live with Spina Bifida by sending documentation, books… which we enjoy reading. When there was something we weren’t sure about it was just a phone call away even if we are living up north! You are a great help for families. SB&H was there for Marianka and us from the beginning, 15 years ago and she has continued that legacy of support drawing for the Association for more than 7 years.
