Lottery Calendar

Learn about our October artist, Elaine Davidson from Owen Sound:

1. How did you come up with the idea for this drawing that is included inside the calendar.

I came up with the sketch of the beaver dam being drawn to it on my walks.

2. Why do you like drawing/painting or taking pictures?

I am a full time artist (mostly) and it is my passion/obsession to draw/paint the world around me and come up with something different.

3. How did you feel when you heard your artwork was selected for the TGIF Calendar?

I felt honoured when SB & H asked me to be in a 10 year look back at the art  on the TGIF Calendar.  I have the wonderful experience of being featured on the calendar 3 times.

4. How has the Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus Association of Ontario assisted you and/or your family?

Sb and H have been there for me when I have desperately needed some help finding a doctor who has had experience with adult patients with Spina Bifida.  Also the staff has been a welcome support whenever I’ve needed help.
