Question Shunting make her worse

Ever since my daughter was shunted, 4 years ago, she is worse than she was the days before shunting.
Her shunt has never been blocked or infected.
She was 21 when she was shunted as a result of a bleed 6 years prior.
Has this ever happened to anyone.?
Something is not right. Her adult neurosurgeon is reluctant to make changes to her programmable shunt.
She is annoyed with us as to asking for changes.

If you feel as though something is not right then you should pursue it. You know your daughter much better than the doctor does. If your doctor won't listen to you, it sounds like it might be time to get a second opinion. Stick with your gut and follow what your heart and your head tells you. Make another appointment with her neuro and if that doesn't net you anything, schedule the earliest available appointment with a new neuro.
