Air bubble in the brain
To all readers.
I had my shunt revision number nine*of this year on November 3rd. In all, I had ten surgeries with the externalization of the shunt.
At the presnt time, I still suffer from a headache on the right side due to an air bubble which was found in my brain. Although, the neurosurgeon does not know the cause. It is a very rare situation.I would love to read about people who are experiencing or who have experienced a similar situation.
Also, emotionally it is not always easy. Many people encourage me to change neurosurgeon. What they cannot understand is that I trust this doctor very much and he is one of the best neurosurgeons in North America. What more can I ask for!!! Hydrocephalus can be controled, we are not talking about a brain tumor here!
I also wish to*say that the book*titled The Shunt Book, written by James M.Drake& Christian Sainte-Rose is excellent, if you wish to read about shunts. Has anyone read Perfectly Normal: A Mother's Memoir by Marcy Sheiner.
Thank you to everyone who reads and/or answers this message.
