Default Any thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for aiding in the elimination process without using enemas.* I have researched and the babies become dependant on enemas and then they can never go on their own.**Any info would be greatly appreciated.*

we have used a combination of lansoyl (a mineral oil jelly) and senakot (a natural stimulant laxative) for our daughter since she was about 10 months old. it has worked well for us so far.
while it may be true that a person can become 'dependent' on enemas...it would be way worse for a child (or adult for that matter) to be chronically constipated which can lead to all sorts of complications.
you should speak with your pediatrician or with your URO to find out more.
