This highly successful annual fundraiser will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2010. Everyone is welcome. This unique format challenges participants to play 100 holes of golf in one day! We have special rules for fast play and you have an entire day at Streetsville Glen Golf Club, Mississauga. After a quick breakfast you can tee off by 8:30 a.m. and complete 100 holes by 4:30 in the afternoon. Does it get better than this?
Improve your golf swing. If you haven’t played a game of golf for some time, playing 100 holes in one day will quickly improve your swing. It’s like going to a one-day golf school but more FUN!
Test yourself. When you set a lofty goal for yourself, you will always remember the feeling of triumph when you beat the odds. Challenge yourself to play 100 holes in a day – we know you can do it!
Golf all day. You will have plenty of time to play 100 holes. We don’t keep score so this is truly no stress golf. How often can you play 5 1/2 rounds in a day? Now you can and it’s great fun!
Earn prizes. Prizes are awarded for the most pledges, longest drive, closest to the pin and more. We also have a prize for every participant because everyone is a winner!
The best reason of all is that proceeds will support SB&H programs and services!
Foursomes are not required. In fact, you can come out and play by yourself or team up with another player. Unlike a tournament, there are no fees – your golf day is free! All that we ask is that you raise pledges for SB&H. You don’t have to pay a cent to participate and all meals are provided. What could be better?
Bring your friends, your energy and enthusiasm and join us in June! You have to try it…at least once!

What a great event! Golfers came from across the province to participate in this 100-hole golf marathon. Although it was a little on the cool side on Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 golfers persisted and challenged themselves to play 100 holes of golf in one day. It was an amazing day of good fun and golfing with friends.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors whose contributions made this event a huge success, the companies that provided prizes for our golfers and the many individuals who raised pledges. More than $43,000 was raised for SB&H programs and services.
THANK YOU!

Our top fundraisers were Marc Garson, Chair of SB&H Board of Directors, Brock Greenhalgh, grade 8 school teacher in the Kitchener/Waterloo area and Adriana Cinapri, SB&H member. Brock encouraged Forest Glen Public School to participate in a Goods, Services and Talent (GST) auction that raised over $5,000! Adriana is no novice to this event. Now in her fourth year she has raised a grand total of $24,000. Congratulations to everyone!
Media personalities Eric Smith of the Fan 590, Bill Hayes from Q107 and Doug Smith from the Toronto Star promoted our event and spread the word about spina bifida and hydrocephalus, on air and through their blogs. We have already seen results of their endorsements. That’s not all, they raised pledges as well. Thank you!
So many individuals made the day a special experience. We would also like to thank Dr. Jim Drake, Chief, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Sick Kids Hospital who played in the challenge for his continued support and the staff at Streetsville Glen Golf Club for being such wonderful hosts, yet again.

On Tuesday, May 27th, 2008 golfers came from London, Kitchener, Waterloo, Woodstock, Mount Hope and the GTA to support SB&H in the single most successful fundraising event in our 35-year history.
More than $56,000 was raised from our corporate sponsors combined with pledges and donations from golfers! We would like to thank all of the sponsors who helped make this event a great success. Special mention goes to Codman, a Johnson & Johnson company who has been the Eagle sponsor for the third year running. Click on the link below to view all of our sponsoring partners.
Notable highlights were our top two fundraisers. Marc Garson, Chair, SB&H Board of Directors, who successfully raised $6,900 followed by member Adriana Cinapri who brought in over $4,200. Marc’s prize was a two-night stay for two at Deerhurst Resort valued at $750. Congratulations Marc!
Dr. James Drake, Chief, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Sick Kids Hospital was on hand to play a few holes as were radio personalities Eric Smith of the Fan 590 and Bill Hayes of Q107. It was a full day of fun for everyone.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all participants who gave of their time to obtain pledges, encouraged others to join us, collected prizes and then challenged themselves to play 100 holes of golf in one day. Due to their selfless and diligent efforts, SB&H now has additional funds that will enable us to provide essential services to benefit children, parents and adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus.
Last but not least, the excellent support provided by the staff at the Streetsville Glen Golf Club ensured that our day was a great success.
