Community Event

My name is Barbara Desmarais. I am a parenting coach and step- parent to twin, deaf, sons. I have worked both with children with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities, since the mid ‘70’s, although the majority of my work now is with parents of typical children.

I know, from personal experience, parents of children with disabilities face a unique set of challenges. It can be physically and mentally demanding. Add typical children into the mix and it can be really difficult to meet everyone's needs...especially yours. But help is here!
