Unleash your inner artist!

Are you a creative individual or family member living with spina bifida or hydrocephalus? If so, SB&H invites you to submit your one-of-a-kind art for the 19th annual Thank Goodness It’s Friday Lottery Calendar.

The calendar is a great way to inform people in different communities across the province about the conditions while raising much needed funds for the Association. Our goal each year is to sell 3,000 calendars. Money raised from this initiative is directed toward vital SB&H programs and services that support families across Ontario.

Help us continue the tradition of featuring beautiful, inspiring artwork in our full colour, wall calendar. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work to thousands province-wide.

All ideas are welcome! Submissions may be in the form of photographs, acrylics, water colours, oils, or sketches. The final size
of the calendar is 9” x 12” and if possible, the artwork should be in a landscape configuration (the widest part across the bottom). All artwork that can be scanned or photographed will be considered.

If you have submitted in the past we encourage you to try again! The SB&H Artist Selection Committee will review all submissions and contact each qualifying artist. Ultimately, the selected Feature Artist will be contacted with requirements for final production of the calendar.

Your submission must be received no later than April 13th, 2012 and should include the following:

• A sample of your work and description of the medium used
• Contact information and how to reach you during the day

If you are selected, here is a checklist of what we will require by May 11th:

• original artwork or good photographic reproduction of 13 pictures
• 250-275 word (maximum) artist bio, photo and artist website URL (if applicable).
